The only way it would be better is if that thread had started when the stock was at about $460 a share.

It's OK, though. I learned today that there's 3 ways things can play out for the stock market right now.
Path 1 - stocks go up
Path 2 - stocks go up
Path 3 - stocks go up

Sounds pretty simple. What could go wrong?

I'm doing well. I've been DCAing into TSLA for the past week. Gonna keep buying while all you suckers miss out in this one-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

BigPeePee I never really looked at a DCA strategy until reading your post. So basically you give up some expected return (time in market) for reduced volatility?

CalebWetherell Yes. It's to prevent the chance of buying everything at the top. It worked for me, as I was able to pick up most of my shares when it hit < $400 last week.
