The issue with other automakers is that they don't have the sales to benefit from economies of scale nearly as much as tesla did, because tesla was literally the only game in town for many years, and now most EV sales are Teslas, making it difficult for the competition to ever catch up.
Tesla is a perfect example of first-movers advantage.
I don't believe tesla's growth is done yet. At the very least, they will get to $2 Trillion marketcap if they have a monopoly on EVs. They will also lead in energy storage solutions and their robotaxi fleet may send them to $3000/share.
